Every project is different but there are many recurring themes.

The initial consultation. Where we get to know you a bit better and get an idea of what you are hoping to achieve. We offer this service free of charge.

The measured survey. This usually includes drawing and measuring your whole house or premises inside and out.

A feasibility study. This allows us to sketch some proposals based on your needs and our thoughts on how to achieve this. We always keep in mind your budget, planning stipulations and building warrant regulations at this point.

A Planning Application. This can come in many forms, from listed building consent to a certificate of lawfulness. We will prepare and submit the application for you as required so you don’t have to worry about it.

A Building Warrant Application. At this point, we will be 100% sure of the design and layout of your proposal. We will require to prepare construction drawings from the foundations up, often working alongside other professionals as required (Structural Engineers for example).

At this point you will be able to obtain prices from builders based on your approved building warrant drawings and start your build.

Remember that the Council will require notification when you are going to start the works.

Once your build is complete you can apply for a completion certificate and the process is complete.
